Benefits of Mobile Commerce

Mobile commerce provides many benefits to both the consumers and suppliers. According to Prindle (2010), this new technology impacts how consumers search and locate tangibles online. Consumers are relying more on their mobile devices to shop, than on price tags, sales staff, or the store itself (Prindle, 2010). The idea to have the convenience to just take your phone and get whatever need done is appealing. With an increase of adaptation of smartphones and mobile devices, consumers increase their consumption of purchased goods (Kharif, 2009). Mobile devices now offer ubiquity, the availability of anytime and anywhere, and reachability, the user can be reached at anytime and anywhere, attracts the consumers into the service (Benou and Bitos, 2008). People are seeking easy-to-follow transactions, and to make their lives basic. This new mobile trend is offering more benefits to the consumers. We see this through the example of systematic applications, which are for convenience, on-the-run, and more opportunities (Spangler, 2010).
The new phenomenon behind mobile commerce has managed to produce large amounts of investment in wireless phone services (Lee and Mills, 2010). It is growing into a great profitable market. It is attracting more consumers. Mobile commerce could improve a company’s overall power to act in an electronic business strategy formation (Clarke III, 2010).  Mobile commerce will expand a client base by providing exceptional customer service (Clarke III, 2010).  Thus, it will remain a key factor, because it is important to keep the consumers satisfied
